Happy Veterans Day from our team!! If you're out and about or know a veteran, please make sure to thank them for their service. It's important to show appreciation to those who sacrificed a lot, including their own lives; to keep us safe. So, in honor of today, we'd like to give you some more information on VA loans. We support our veterans and love working with them!
- You do not need a down-payment unless it's required by the lender.
- The VA also provides guidance, and policies to ensure they can provide solutions to borrowers who may have difficulties keeping their property. They want to help avoid any foreclosure.
- There is no maximum amount on how much you can borrow to finance your home when using the VA. There is an amount of liability though.
- You can use the VA to buy a home as a primary residence (This can be either existing or new construction.) As well as refinance an existing loan.
- Minimum property requirements.
- One-time VA funding fee, which can be included in the loan. If you receive VA disability compensation, you are exempt from the VA funding fee.
